1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

• Display Name: When you start playing, you choose a display name that appears on the leaderboard. This name is visible to all other players.
• Google Account Information (optional): If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your Google account's email address, display name, and profile picture URL through Firebase Authentication. This is used to maintain your progress across devices.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Anonymous User Identifier: When you first launch the App, Firebase Authentication generates an anonymous unique identifier (UID) for your device. This allows us to associate scores with your account without personally identifying you.
• Gameplay Data: We collect your game scores, total coins collected, number of games played, and timestamps of your runs. This data powers the leaderboard and your personal statistics.
• Advertising Identifier: Our advertising partner (Google AdMob) may collect your device's advertising ID to serve personalized ads.
• Approximate Location (Country-level): AdMob automatically infers your approximate country from your IP address to comply with regional ad regulations.
• Device Information: Standard device data such as Android version, device model, and language settings may be collected by Firebase and AdMob for analytics and ad delivery purposes.

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not access your contacts, photos, files, microphone, or camera.
• We do not collect precise location (GPS).
• We do not collect any payment information (the App is free to play).
• We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

• Leaderboard functionality: To display global, daily, and all-time rankings.
• Account persistence: To save your progress across devices and reinstalls (if you sign in with Google).
• Advertising: To show ads that help support the App (via AdMob).
• App improvement: To diagnose crashes and improve gameplay.
• Compliance: To comply with applicable laws and prevent fraudulent activity (such as score manipulation).

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review.

These services may collect, store, and process data on their own servers in accordance with their privacy policies.

4. Data Sharing

We share data only in these limited circumstances:

• With Firebase and AdMob, as described above, to operate the App.
• Publicly on the leaderboard: Your chosen display name and game score are visible to all other players. Do not use a display name that identifies you personally if you do not want it publicly visible.
• If required by law, such as in response to a valid legal request from authorities in Bangladesh or other applicable jurisdictions.

5. Data Retention

• Leaderboard scores and player stats are retained as long as your account exists.
• Daily session records (used for the "Today" leaderboard) are retained for up to 30 days, after which they may be deleted.
• Anonymous accounts are retained until the App is uninstalled. Uninstalling the App without signing in with Google permanently removes your scores from your device, but a record of past gameplay may remain on our servers indefinitely under the anonymous UID.
• Google-linked accounts are retained until you request deletion (see Section 7).

6. Children's Privacy

Lane Legend is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [YOUR EMAIL] and we will delete it.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

• Access: You can request a copy of the data we hold about your account.
• Deletion: You can request that we delete your account and associated data.
• Correction: You can change your display name in the App at any time.
• Withdraw consent: You can sign out of your Google account in the App, which will revert you to anonymous play.
• Opt out of personalized ads: You can disable personalized ads on your device in Settings → Google → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization."

8. Data Security

We use industry-standard security practices through Firebase, including:

• Authenticated access controls on all user data
• Server-side validation rules to prevent unauthorized writes
• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS) between the App and our servers

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International Data Transfers

Firebase and AdMob store data on Google servers, which may be located outside Bangladesh, including in the United States and other countries. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your data to these locations.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you within the App. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
